Letters of Recommendation from:
 Diana Duell,  Principal
&
Chris Belmont, Athletic Director

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am writing to highly recommend Mrs. Aimee Andolina as a physical education teacher in a public school setting.  Although we will miss her greatly, she is ready to climb to the next stage of her professional development. There are many avenues of opportunity in a large district, that are not available in a small Catholic school.  For example, I can envision Aimee as a Physical Education Director, later on in her career!

She excels in every aspect of teaching! What is most impressive upon meeting Mrs. Andolina is her positive attitude.  If it is true that “attitude brings great altitude”, there are no limits to her future successes!!  There is a part of the Optimist’s Creed that reminds me of Aimee. “To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true…To think only the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best…To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own…To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you greet a smile…To give so much time to the development of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.  To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for defeat and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.”  The author of this creed is marked “unknown”.  Well, anyone who knows Aimee would bet that she was the author!!

On the topic of effective teaching, Mrs. Andolina demonstrates the following attributes:

Ø     Exhibits positive expectations for students

Ø     Establishes good classroom management techniques

Ø     Designs lessons for student mastery

Ø     Teaches with proven research-based practices

Ø     Presents herself as a role model for students

Ø     Differentiates and modifies the curriculum based on the needs of the students

Ø     Emphasizes the strong correlation of healthy bodies and  academic skills

Ø     Underscores the importance of working as a TEAM-Together- Everyone- Achieves- More!!

Mrs. Andolina demonstrates strong leadership in our school!  She facilitates the Safety Committee, oversees the arrival and dismissal of students, revised the entire K-12 Physical Education Curriculum and initiates school-wide activities.

In regard to her interpersonal skills, she surpasses the norm.  Aimee is admired and loved by students, colleagues and parents!

Aimee will be very successful and a real asset to any faculty!

If you need any further information to secure Aimee a position as a physical education teacher, please call me at 458-3786!

Thank you for the opportunity of speaking on Mrs. Andolina’s  behalf!

Sincerely,

Diana Duell, Principal

To Whom It May Concern:                                                        April 8, 2006

It is certainly a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Aimee Andolina. She is an outstanding individual and her achievements during her employment at the Nazareth Schools as Pre-K to grade 5 physical education teacher are indicative of her dedication, determination, and hard work.

Mrs. Andolina began her employment at Nazareth Schools in the fall of 2001 as the elementary physical education teacher. In 2002-03 she coached grade 7-8 CYO boy’s soccer, in 2003-04 she was the assistant girl’s varsity soccer coach and for the past three years grade 5-6 CYO girl’s basketball coach. In addition, the summer of 2005 Mrs. Andolina researched, prepared and implemented the physical education curriculum for Pre-K to grade 12.

Mrs. Andolina is the type of person who creatively utilizes her talents and energy. She is a hard worker who is willing to put her best efforts into any project she undertakes. Her sense of commitment and enthusiasm have made her a valued individual in our school. She is responsible, reliable, and has an excellent attendance record.

It is evident that Aimee loves to teach. Some people are naturally gifted to work with children and Aimee is truly one of those people. She has a great rapport with all the children and co-workers. Without reservation, I recommend Mrs. Andolina for employment in your school district.

If you should have any questions, please feel free to call.
